Additional NRCS programs include the Emergency Watershed Protection Program (EWPP) (https://www.nrcs.usda.gov/wps/portal/nrcs/detail/tx/programs/planning/ewpp/?cid=stelprdb1077088) , which provides assistance to local government sponsors with the cost of addressing watershed impairments or hazards like debris removal and streambank stabilization. NRCS staff can provide landowners with technical assistance and conservation planning to assist in short-term and long-term recovery.
