Sen. Young Introduces Bill to Modify Definition of Full-Time Employee

WASHINGTON, May 18 -- Sen. Todd Young, R-Ind., has introduced legislation (S. 1510) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to modify the definition of full-time employee for purposes of the employer mandate in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act."
The bill was introduced on May 16 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., John Barrasso, R-Wyo., and Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
