Sen. Menendez Introduces Bill to Reauthorize National Flood Insurance Program

WASHINGTON, July 20 -- Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., has introduced legislation (S. 2187) to reauthorize the National Flood Insurance Program.
The bill was introduced on July 18 and has 10 co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Bill Cassidy, R-La., Charles E. Schumer, D-N.Y., Cindy Hyde-Smith, R-Miss., Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., John Kennedy, R-La., Jack Reed, D-R.I., Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Cory Booker, D-N.J., Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and Chris Van Hollen, D-Md.'
The legislation was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
