Rural Hospitals Sue Blue Cross Blue Shield Of Oklahoma
Several rural hospitals are suing Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oklahoma. The hospitals have requested a temporary restraining order after the insurance company allegedly said it would cut provider reimbursement rates. The order prevents the hospitals’ contracts from expiring. The Oklahoman reports the lawsuit that was filed on behalf of the hospitals in Prague, Fairfax, Haskell and Drumright alleges the insurance provider breached its contract with the hospitals.
