"We were told by one of the (cleaning) companies that we got a bid from that asbestos was a potential hazard around when those condos were constructed," Bernstein said. "So we wanted to get it tested independently to find out if (the buildings) had it."
Bernstein and the board hired Bloom Environmental, of
"They tested for asbestos and did not find it in the popcorn ceiling or in the drywall," Bernstein said of the study conducted in December. "We are in the clear."
