Rep. Walorski Introduces Bill on Employer Mandate in Obamacare

WASHINGTON, May 18 -- Rep. Jackie Walorski, R-Ind., has introduced legislation (H.R. 2782) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to repeal the 30-hour threshold for classification as a full-time employee for purposes of the employer mandate in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and replace it with 40 hours."
The bill was introduced on May 16 and was co-sponsored by Reps. Daniel Lipinski, D-Ill., Mike Kelly, R-Pa., and Collin C. Peterson, D-Minn. It was referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.
