Police arrest suspected driver in hit-and-run that hurt good Samaritan
The 27-year-old man was jailed on suspicion of felony hit and run, driving with a suspended license and no insurance.
The crash happened just after midnight on
The man was standing next to the disabled car when a station wagon headed south on Sunset Cliffs struck the car and the victim, Sgt.
The car -- later identified as a late 1990s Subaru Outback Legacy -- kept going.
The good Samaritan suffered internal injuries and a broken leg. He has since been released from the hospital.
