"If the administration repeals the law, it's a non-issue," he said. "(The tax) would affect some OMU employees. It's not a substantial number that would put us out of business, but it's a cost. We would end up paying it like an administration fee, but the question is how you offset that in premiums or a decrease in services."

Moore's comments Thursday came as OMU officials reflect on dozens of regulations in effect or under development. Overall, OMU was found to be well in compliance with regulations affecting finance, electricity and water delivery, production as well as customer and shared services.
OMU spokeswoman
"There are a number of regulations and legislative requirements that affect OMU," she said. "It is important that we are up-to-date on all of these and provide a clear summary to our commission of the efforts we make to remain in compliance and the costs associated with them."
