"We only have one open apartment across all our properties, so we've been going by seniority and offering it to those who need it," Raak said. "We're finding a lot of people are staying with relatives and they're OK with that."
Raak said she's not sure yet how much construction will need to take place at the apartment building to make it livable again, so she doesn't have a time frame to get residents back into the property.
"The fire marshal is meeting with insurance people and that sort of thing right now," she said. "(Residents) have been going back in and collecting property and getting things out. We're just happy that nobody was hurt."
A smaller fire occurred on Abbey Court, which is off of
