New Hanover schools: the latest on make-up days, damage, redistricting

Redistricting delayed
Board members voted to delay a vote on middle and high school redistricting until January.
Before the storm, board members had planned to vote on proposed maps Tuesday. Florence forced the district to cancel a trio of public forums on the maps in September, and board members said they wanted to give families another chance to weigh in before a vote.
