At the meeting, residents were given packets of materials to help guide them through the flood recovery process. That included information on septics and wells, mosquitoes and home inspections.
“Filling out the form doesn’t guarantee you’ll be helped, but if you don’t fill out the form it’s a guarantee you will not get any assistance,” she said.
Beck added they’re also putting together plans for all of the sandbags lining people’s homes and road, and will have places they can be dropped off. But, she cautioned, although the river flows are trending downward, people need to keep the sandbags in place just a little longer.
