Long-Term Care Preparation & Estate Planning Seminar Being Held at SWOSU

WEATHERFORD, Oklahoma, Sept. 12 -- Southwestern Oklahoma State University issued the following news release:
SWOSU Continuing Education is hosting a long term care preparation and estate planning seminar this Tuesday, September 18, from 10 a.m.-12 noon and 1:30- 3:30 p.m. on the Weatherford campus.
Lisa Thiessen of the SWOSU Business Enterprise Center (BEC) said the workshop at the BEC (1121 N. Seventh Street) is free and open to the public but registration is requested by calling 580.774.3039 or emailing [email protected].
The morning session at 10 a.m. will be presented by Dee Henderson, executive director of Corn Heritage Villages. She will speak about types of long-term care, decisions about health and finances, and Medicare/Medicaid. The afternoon session at 1:30 p.m. will feature attorney Michael Entz, who will speak about general estate planning, trust, Medicaid planning, asset protection, durable power of attorney, living will, and VA benefits planning.
