Lively buzz in downtown Delray under threat, bar owners say

Eighteen firefighters are on extra duty on weekend nights, with two or three assigned to each venue. The city requires the restaurants to pay the overtime.
City records show the restaurants are being billed at least
"It's become pretty uninviting," Prakas said. "If they don't do something immediately, you're going to see some businesses close down real soon."
