Lanane files bill to maintain pre-existing medical condition coverage

"I drafted the bill several months ago but with the ruling this weekend I decided to file it," he said. "With the continued attacks on the Affordable Care Act, I wanted to make sure pre-existing conditions would continue to be covered."

"I will be talking to the committee chairman, whichever committee it is assigned to, asking for a hearing," he said.
Lanane said there will be no cost to the state and the legislation is maintaining the pre-existing coverage part of the Affordable Care Act.
