In granting Simms' motion in May, Jones halted Sanders' attorneys from gathering a deposition, written answers or any paperwork from King for 90 days while investigators work with the

"We're still moving forward," Rickard said. "We're pushing it as far as we can."
The 90-day period has since expired and attorneys for both Sanders and King have heard different updates on the status of any potential criminal charges.
"Based on information we got recently, in another 30 days we're going to know one way or another," Rickard said referring to whether criminal charges will be filed against King.
"She'll review it and then we'll brief them together,"
Simms, who is the only attorney on the case who appeared for the Tuesday hearing, asked Jones to "continue the stay concerning
Any criminal charges that may come from the investigation, Rickard said, will have no bearing on the civil suit.
"It will continue on," he said.
