Florence causes significant flooding, damage
Everything from flooding to road closures to building damage and school closures has been reported.
Late last week, expected rainfall totals for the county were increased to between 10 and 15 inches between Saturday and Monday. Reported rainfall totals have fallen below that prediction.
However, flooding will continue to be a concern as rain water continues to flow into local rivers and creeks.

Emergency communications reported several incidents involving downed trees, downed power lines and traffic accidents all across the county due to the storm this weekend.
While emergency communications said the flooding was widespread and too vast to name each incident, some road closures mentioned included

The foundation of a home on Happy Hill Court was reported to have partially collapsed Sunday night due to flooding. By Monday morning, the home was surrounded in caution tape. The homeowners did not wish to comment on the extent of the damage.

The heavy rainfalls also forced the closure of the Davidson County Agricultural Fair on Monday and Tuesday. According to
