- Provides interactive, 3-D map of impact zone with estimates; FAQ for servicers and direct access to insurance adjusters -
The initiative offers servicers an interactive, 3-D map of Hurricane Florence’s potential impact zones through the company’s website and enables them to compare average monthly claims to anticipated claims after the hurricane as well as a comparison of the costs of monthly damage against the estimated costs after Florence by impact zone. The visualization of data allows servicers to modify the processes they use to handle incoming claims more effectively. It also helps servicers to project the impact of the hurricane on their existing portfolios and communicate more effectively with both borrowers and investors. DIMONT will also run individual projections for any servicer who requests it.
The second part of the initiative is the FAQ with tips for servicers on how to more effectively process insurance claims in the wake of Hurricane Florence. The initiative’s final element is the capability for servicers to talk directly with insurance adjusters through DIMONT free of charge.
These three elements of the Hurricane Florence Resource Initiative can be found at dimont.com.
