In addition to the livestock, Coomer said the family lost a mower, tools and horse tack. None of the items lost in the fire are covered by insurance, but a GoFundMe account has been created and members of the community are helping the family restock their poultry lines.
In a Facebook post, Coomer said the family's home was undamaged in the blaze and their horses are fine.
"So much to be thankful for in the morning light," she wrote. "Not sure how, but we will move forward."
