Seacoast Shores hashes out finances

A pair of meetings on Saturday filled the association clubhouse's dining room to the brim after the association's message to either "Save or Sell" its assets worked better than planned.

In an open letter to the neighborhood that Sette shared with the Times, he took responsibility for not anticipating the interest and, in the first meeting, not leaving enough time for a full discussion of the association's finances.
However, Sette said a solution to the looming problems in Seacoast Shores must still be found.
"None of us want to sell, but we've got to get a solution nailed down," he said. "The rights of way need a lot of work."

"If that level of communication will do it for them, then we'll support it 100 percent," he said. "We're all committed to preserving this neighborhood."
