Michael Tracey takes up challenge of raising funds for hospital foundation [San Bernardino County Sun, Calif.]

Those charitable legacies go back to the beginning in 1907 when Dr.

location. Today, the 279-bed acute care medical center continues to serve the residents of the City of Gracious Living as well as those from surrounding communities.
The hospital is experiencing growing pains and is undergoing expansion. Construction is well under way on plans to expand the present emergency room to 52 beds and to build a four-storied patient tower housing 80 private medical and surgical rooms.
The motto is "We're building for tomorrow, today," and the project is slated to be completed in 2013.
And now Tracey joins the team whose mission continues to be helping the community. The Foundation plays a key role in financially supporting the health and growth of the hospital.
The emphasis is on giving the gift of health by direct donations, estate planning and other fundraising avenues. It involves physical changes to the facility but also added benefits that directly touch patients such as new neonatal intensive care unit beds, new technologies and support programs.
