Although most high school spring athletes have been done with their seasons for at least several weeks now, from our perspective in
That's the way we like it, even if it means extra work, because it means there were exciting teams and athletes to cover until the end.
From the start to finish, locals made their presence felt at the state level. Let's take a look at some of the highlights:
n State champs --
n State runners-up -- There were a number of near misses, with three state runners-up in wrestling (

n Final look -- To start the year in the fall, there weren't any state teams but it was quite a football season.
With the final installment of The All-Daily Record All-Star teams in the paper today and our DR Baseball and Softball All-Star Games played earlier in the week, the school year is 99.9 percent in the books as far as we're concerned. We have one last task, which will be voting for
