Fired employee files tort claim against Nampa School District; district refutes claim [The Idaho Statesman]

If the insurer rejects the claim,
District officials issued a statement saying Young was dismissed from his job as a kitchen supervisor for making racial remarks about a minority member of his staff. A district spokeswoman said district workers did throw away some recyclable trays because they were used before the equipment had been installed to compact them for recycling.
In addition to lunch-tray whistle-blowing, Young claims he was harassed and mistreated because he was a man in an overwhelmingly female department and that his supervisor made "blatantly sexually discriminatory statements" to him. The complaint quotes Nutritional Services Manager
