Fashion show of City Thrift Shop clothing raises money for the Reading nonprofit

Restaurant patrons and thrift shop supporters crowded the Peanut Bar for fashion shows at lunch and dinner.
"They give a lot of stuff away free to the needy," said Sprecher, whose wife, Jane, was a model.
Volunteers at the thrift shop assembled outfits from donated clothing with labels from Chico's, Talbots and Abercrombie.
