Doris was born
After teaching in rural schools, she taught kindergarten for numerous years in
Doris went on to teach art for many years, eventually becoming interested in painting and teaching porcelain painting. She stayed involved in teaching this art until only a few years ago, after she and Homer retired to
Her extensive studies in this art were demonstrated at numerous shows, winning many awards across the nation.
Doris was a loving kind person, and family was most important to her. She made this apparent to all of her relations.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Homer of 75 years.
