3 local students place at national FBLA competition

Sixteen students from both schools along with East Stroudsburg South placed high enough in the state competition in the spring to qualify for the national conference. Wolf, Parks and Pothuri were the three top 10 finishers.

"We all have very strong chapters where we have a lot of involvement within the region," she said.
Wolf's honor also came with
"It was extremely exciting, especially when they were doing the countdown and all of a sudden it was down to the top three and top two and then one," Sickler said.
Sickler said the success for the
"It just really shows that with some determination and some hard work, that they can be national champions," she said.
The students competed against about 150 others from across the country in each category. All three took exams, and Parks also did an interview.
At
"They're both excellent students and they're both true competitors," she said. "They work very, very hard to get the awards they get."
