Rep. Johnson Introduces Bill to Freeze Health Reform Law Implementation
<p>by <org>KAREN NARAG Targeted News Service</org></p><p><location value="LU/us.dc.wash" idsrc="xmltag.org">WASHINGTON</location>, <chron>Oct. 6</chron> -- Rep. <person>Sam Johnson</person>, R-<location value="LS/us.tx" idsrc="xmltag.org">Texas</location>, has introduced legislation (H.R. 3095) to "freeze the implementation of the health reform law, to establish a commission to evaluate its impact on the delivery of health care to current <org>Medicare</org> recipients, job creation, current health insurance coverage, participation in State exchanges, and the Federal deficit."</p><p>The bill was introduced on <chron>Oct. 5</chron>.</p><p>The legislation was referred to the House Energy and Commerce, Ways and Means, Education and the Workforce, Natural Resources, Judiciary, <org>House Administration</org>, Appropriations, and Rules Committees.</p><p>The full text of the bill is available from the <org>Library of Congress Thomas</org> legislative web site.
