Trump Releases Health Care Plan
Donald Trump revealed his plans on how he will reform the U.S. healthcare system in order to fulfill his promise to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
Trump's plan, released Wednesday, would repeal Obamacare, remove barriers that prevent the sale of health insurance across states and make health insurance premium payments tax-deductible, according to Trump's campaign website.
The campaign hopes the proposed reforms would "lower healthcare costs for all Americans" and broaden the access for Americans who want health insurance under a Trump administration.
The plan would also require price transparency from all healthcare providers, which will allow people to "shop to find the best prices for procedures, exams or any other medical-related procedure." The announcement came a day after Trump won seven out of 11 states on Super Tuesday.
