Laurie J. Woog To Lead New Immigration Practice at Mandelbaum Salsburg
Mandelbaum Salsburg announced that it has launched an immigration practice and expanded its real estate practice with the addition of attorney Laurie J. Woog, who will lead the immigration practice and joins the firm as of counsel.
Woog brings 20 years' experience in immigration law to her association with Mandelbaum Salsburg. The firm will now offer a comprehensive range of immigration legal services to corporations, small businesses and individual clients. The practice will focus on temporary and permanent business immigration matters, as well as family-related immigration issues, including consular processing and naturalization.
Woog represents clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) and consulates abroad in all areas of immigration, including work visas such as H-lbs, L-ls, R-ls and O-ls, and labor certification (PERM). She has helped many employers and highly skilled immigrants obtain legal residence based on outstanding research, extraordinary ability and national interest waivers, particularly in the areas of science, academia, business, entertainment and the arts.
Woog is admitted to practice in New Jersey, and earned her J.D. from Northeastern University Law School, and her B.A. from Harvard University. She maintains a private practice. In addition, slie is an adjunct professor of immigration Jaw at Union County College, and she speaks and writes on immigration issues.

Mandelbaum Salsburg announced that it has launched an immigration practice and expanded its real estate practice with the addition of attorney Lauren A. Camevale. Carnevale joins the firm's real estate practice as counsel,
Carnevale, the newest member of the real estate practice joins the firm as from lesser Hochman, a Roseland-based law firm. Carnevale, who has more than 14 years' experience in all facets of commercial real estate, focuses on secured lending and commercial real estate law, with an emphasis on leasing and all aspects of complex real estate transactions.
She has represented lenders, including major financial institutions, in secured lending transactions including refinancings, construction financing and acquisition financing. Camevale also has extensive experience in representing borrowers on commercial refinancings, construction financing and acquisition financing from institutional lenders, life insurance companies and CMBS lenders.
Additionally, Camevale represented owners in acquisitions and sales of commercial properties, including multiple sales of large garden apartment complexes throughout New Jersey, as well as tax-deferred exchanges. She also has represented landlords in the preparation and negotiation of leases for commercial properties, including shopping centers and office buildings.
