July 27--Diane Kuhn Huff joined Cindy Anderson at the law firm of Stephen & Anderson PLC. Anderson brings 25 years of experience in estate planning and estate administration to the firm. She has provided legal services in business, real estate, estate planning and estate administration for more than 20 years.
Trevor Tkach, executive director of the National Cherry Festival, was selected to replace Brad VanDommelen as the president of Traverse City Tourism by a subcommittee of its board of directors. Tkach grew up in Traverse City and attended Northwestern Michigan College before earning a bachelor's degree at Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Business Administration at the University of Michigan -- Flint. He joined the Cherry Festival in 2007 as business development manager and became its permanent executive director by 2012.

Terry Vandercook replaced Janie McNabb as director of operations at Northwest Michigan Works. Vandercook was previously a business development manager for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and has worked as a Northwest Michigan Works business liaison. He also had a 20-year career in the United States Air Force.
Leah A. Carlson, M.D., joined Munson Medical Center as a specialist in radiology and breast imaging. She practices with Grand Traverse Radiologists at Munson Medical Center and Smith Family Breast Health Center in Traverse City. Carlson graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. She completed a residency in radiology at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta and a fellowship in breast imaging at the University of Michigan Hospitals & Health Centers in Ann Arbor.
