York insurance broker Judd Lando knew almost instantly that he had found the right building for his business when he visited it in August 2015. More than a year later, the building is now home to the insurance agency he leads alongside his business partner, Tad Shirey. The agency, York's Insurance Services United Inc., also is rebranding itself as ISU. It recently moved from another part of downtown York, at 224 N. George St., into the threestory building at 123 E. Market St. The new ISU headquarters had been the long-time home of the Bailey Travel firm. The building was sold in late 2015 for $399,000 to ISU's principals as well as the principals of RSDC Inc. (formerly known as Royal Square Development and Construction). The group then renovated the building and leased the first floor to ISU. A total of $800,000 was spent on the building's purchase and subsequent rehabilitation, executives said.
