Regarding the front-page headline "Candidates differ on climate debate" (The Capital, Oct. 21):
That headline seems to be propagating a myth that there is a "climate debate," perhaps related to the myth of "clean coal." Review of the facts of the matter seems to reveal that the "debate" is contrived. In essence, there is only science and those who choose to ignore it.
There should be shame and caution toward those who make that choice.
