Ephrata is not the only school district to partner with businesses to create athletic sponsorships. But other districts have taken a different route. They are earning income by selling corporations naming rights of their stadiums, parking lots and even cafeterias.
"They were specifically interested in athletics, and we developed an athletic sponsorship package to accommodate their interest and any additional interest in the community," she said.
