JV Panthers advance to finals

April [email protected] -- The Pauls Valley JV Panthers advanced to the finals of the Chickasha Tournament with an 8-6 win over Bethany on Friday.
The Panthers got on the scoreboard in the third.
Sager walked with one out and advanced around to third on a pair of wild pitches. He would score on
Bethany would cut the lead in half in the bottom half of the inning with a run off a hit and error. They took the lead in the fourth after a couple of hits and an error giving them a 3-2 lead.
PV regained the lead in the fifth as Meave singled. He moved to second on a passed ball and scored on Johnson's single.
Johnson would move to second on a fielder's choice and score on an error. Davidson who reached on the fielders choice scored on
PV added three insurance runs in the seventh. Sager started the inning with a single and Davidson followed with a single. Baker hit into a fielders choice that got Sager at third.
Davidson stole third and scored on
Bethany would rally in the seventh with three runs. Bethany had three singles in their first four batters to score one run. An error scored another run and a passed ball the third before PV could get the final out of the game.
