San Dimas car show to benefit public safety volunteers
They face challenges against nature and go unafraid into wilderness regions to bring people safely home or to offer closure for families. They reassure folks wanting to explore the world that their homes and possessions will be safe when they return.
They use their love of horses to add an extra layer of protection to public patrols. They take technical skills to communicate in major emergencies and disasters when no one else can. They explore possible law-enforcement careers by doing grass-roots public service.

"This family event generates large amounts of money for the volunteer groups," Bodell said. "It's open to all ages and gives people a chance to help the volunteers who help them and have fun while they're doing it."
