Outpouring of support, sadness for post-fire Cornerstone Market

This Bible verse, Isaiah 28:16, is now featured on the market's sign after a fire late Wednesday night gutted the business.

The 26-year-old Akron resident said he and his girlfriend visit the market about once a week because it makes them feel like "part of the family."
"The produce is the freshest in town," said Mancuso, who said he also shops there for the prices on everything from the deli to pastries brought in from Amish country. "And the people just treat you so well, like you've known them your entire life."
"I have a hard time getting around, and every time I went in [to the market], everyone was always so kind and helpful," Pogorzelski said. "The family who runs it are the nicest people. They hold a few loaves of my favorite bread for me because it's always gone so fast, and I can't get there in time."
