Well, people shared and shared and shared. And then they shared some more. They shared tales such as: "My story is that I once knew seven people who couldn't get health insurance. Now they all have it, thanks to the ACA and
And, "Now my daughter, diagnosed with MS at age 22, can have insurance. What do you plan to do with her?"
And "Obamacare saved us when my husband was unemployed and we couldn't afford coverage. We might have been ruined without it. My husband could not have had the eye surgery needed after an accident. So grateful."
And "not waking up in the middle of the night panicked that my child won't ever be able to get health insurance thanks to a brain tumor at the age of 2. Thank God for Obamacare."
There are more, at least 10,000 according to one media count.
Which adheres to one of the most sacrosanct rules of politics: If you can't beat 'em, try to steal the credit. Never mind that Obamacare passed with nary a Republican vote. Never mind that
Cacophony of talking points
Look, I don't know what needs to be done to improve the Affordable Care Act, but I do know that
Therein lies the frustrating part of the Republicans' approach to Obamacare.
The result was about as gag-inducing as a case of New Coke.
