"I don't know what it could have been," she said, as tears streamed down her face.
When crews arrived, they saw flames roaring out of the second-floor windows, with clouds of black and white smoke billowing from the roof and windows. The back of the house was heavily damaged, with the roof partially collapsed and mini-explosions from shell casings.
Rardon said when crews arrived, Ivy ran out of the house, however, Thor was trapped inside. He was rescued, but suffered minor smoke inhalation and was given oxygen by JanCare and Mon EMS.
Firefighters were called back Wednesday afternoon when the blaze rekindled.
