More will visit doctors by teleconference under proposed state law
Aaron Bean, R-Jacksonville, on Tuesday as he urged the Senate Health Policy Committee to approve a bill authorizing practice of telemedicine in the state. A sticking point was eliminated Tuesday as the Senate committee removed language requiring Medicaid reimbursement for telemedicine services at the same rates as for face-to-face examinations.
