Cracking Down On Cars With Out-Of-State Plates

It appears the job is getting done.
The police log has had many mentions in recent weeks of officers checking on such complaints. On one date, there were more than 25 such incidents listed on the log.
With the winter parking ban now in effect, police patrols are not only looking for vehicles parked on the wrong side of the street, but also those with out-of-state plates. Officers are looking to ensure vehicles are parked on the correct side of the street to allow snowplows enough room to clear the streets during snowstorms.

When an officer notices a vehicle with out-of-state plates, he makes a note and then repeatedly returns to that location to see how often the vehicle is parked there.
