Met Council must pay injured bus riders’ claims, court rules

Under the state's no-fault law, a passenger in a motor vehicle who is injured in an accident can first recover medical and lost-wage costs from his own auto insurance policy. If he doesn't have auto insurance, he can recover the benefits from the insurer of the vehicle he was riding in.
The appellate court rejected that argument.
