NRMCA Online Safety Series Grows with Two New Lockout/Tagout/Tryout Lessons

"These tutorials summarize
"Control of Hazardous Energy, Part 1" and " Part 2" expands the new online safety series to four titles. In June, NRMCA launched the series with "Backing Accident Prevention Program" and "How to Use a Spotter to Prevent Backing Accidents." They, as well as all titles in the series, were shot at actual NRMCA Producer members' plants and at onsite pours so viewers could quickly relate how a concept applies directly to their work circumstances. As recommended by insurance carriers as well as federal and state regulatory agencies, every 20- 25 minute lesson includes an individual assessment tool that measures how much learning took place as well as an accompanying group record that tracks participation by name, date of training and specific safety subject. Each is paired with the same topic from the well-established NRMCA Safety Series PowerPoint lessons so a topic can be covered in a traditional format, such as in a safety toolbox group meeting or viewed individually online.
