The annual "Getting Paid In America" survey asked respondents "How do you prefer to access your employee self-service portal?" Over 33 percent of respondents indicated that they access their online portals via laptop computer, tablet computer or smart phone.
"While many employees are accessing their pay and benefits information from their computer, we'll continue to see a shift in the number of employees turning to their mobile devices for this information," said
Employees also value flexibility in their work schedule. When asked "Which 'benefit' is the most important to you at work," nearly 23 percent of respondents indicated that they value a flexible schedule, second only to health insurance.
