Project: Pave Employee Parking lot B and raise elevation under gates in lots B and C and raise elevation under gate on southeast side of property. Contractor must inform center of the number of days of work and timing of work (dates) when work is awarded so the center can plan for staff parking.
Scope of Work: Approximately 33,000 sq. ft. asphalt parking lot on north side of center.
Pulverize the asphalt area
Grade lot to existing curb
Remove excess material and haul away from premises
Fine grade as needed to ensure proper drainage of storm water to storm water grates (2)
Inspect storm water grate structure and repair as needed
Roll for proper compaction
Apply 2 inches of 1100 L course asphalt
Apply SS1H tack coat between lifts
Place 1.5 inches of 1100 T wearing course asphalt
Pave under gates in lot B, gates in lot C and gate on south east side of property. The purpose is to raise the height of the parking lot under the gate to prevent trainees from exiting/entering the center under the gates. Decrease Gap on average to 6 inches and ensure storm water will drain properly. Note* In lot B taper edge left and right edge of asphalt ramp to bottom of curb allow for drainage at curb. Lot C taper asphalt on west side of asphalt ramp to allow water to flow to drain grates.

It is the responsibility of the contractor to insure tools and material are secured during work and at the end of each day.
The Flint-Genesee Job corps Center will assume no responsibility for stored materials.
Contractor is responsible to insure safe working conditions for project for students, staff and contractors employees.
All warranty documentation will be submitted to the Facility Manager at the center.
All work must be code compliant.
The Flint Genesee Job Corps Center may cancel project based on funding withdrawal.
