Wacky and clever names for dogs and cats

It was funny because she was calling her dog, not one of her children. Back then, dogs had names like Spot and Buffy and cats had names like Fluffy and Precious. Dogs generally did not have "people"names, though they sometimes had royal titles like Duke or Duchess. Our family named our first puppy

I am perennially amused by its annual list of "wackiest pet names." It's my favorite list. This year's top winners are a dog named Peanut Wigglebutt and a cat named Snuggles Butt Le Lee.
The wackiest dog names also include Sir Hog Knucklehead, Sasha Biggiepotamus Fierce, Otto Blitzschnell Von Longdog, Zippity Do Dawg, Airbubble McMuffin, Hamburger Patty, Angus T Brackencrack, Mister Buddy Pickles and Waffle Dots.
