Classics a beautiful sight in downtown Lima

The car show had a new location, as
"The car show went really well. This is the first time we have done the car show in downtown Lima and on the streets. I think it went smoothly. We had a good turn out even though other car show competitions were going on," Clinger said.
"We hope you have it here next year,"
"I like it being downtown. I grew up here and it is neat to be down here. I have not been down here in a long time,"
The Real Wheels Classic Car Show featured vintage and classic cars from the 1920s to today. For car lovers, the city felt like a traveling museum with so much to see -- street machines, classic hot rods and vintage beauties.
To the owners who brought their cars out for the annual show, the cars are their babies. And just like babies, they require hours of love and attention.

"This is the first car show he entered and he worked really hard on his car to get it here," Amber said.
The girls agreed that they enjoyed looking at all the cars.
"Some are really tricked out. He will probably do that," Amber said.
The car show is a prime opportunity for people to gather and trade ideas and stories with other car enthusiasts. Most folks at the show were proud to tell you how they located their show car and all they've done to get it running and looking right.
Other spectators were just enjoying the nice weather and the beautiful classics.
"It's good weather and nice cars to look at," Brenneman said.
No matter a person's taste in automobiles, they definitely found something to admire at this show.
"We do the car show because it's a good community event and a lot of readers like to read and see the classic cars. We feature them in the Real Wheels section," Clinger said.
