Dorer scores JEGS win at Anderson

Dorer recorded the biggest win of his career when he passed
He scored another highlight Saturday night by winning for the first time with the CRA/JEGS All-Stars Tour event in the Edgewater Woods 100.

Following the restart, Nelms continued to press Dorer until he was passed on Lap 85 by Quinlan. For several laps, the two drivers battled for the second spot before Quinlan made the successful pass on the front straight.
Nelms brought out the seventh and final caution flag on Lap 86 when he spun coming off the fourth corner while riding in the third position.
With Dorer electing to run the high side on the final restart, Quinlan was able to run side-by-side for the lead for several laps before falling in line behind Dorer.
At the checkers, Dorer won by 1.5-seconds over Quinlan, with JJ Hailey,
"It's been about a year," Dorer said of the win while in the

"I didn't want to win because of a rain delay," he said.
Dorer said he knew that Quinlan had a strong car and turned it up a notch on the final restart.
"I think we had better tires at the end," he said.
Leeck's top-five finish was aided by the 90-minute rain delay that allowed the team to make repairs to his Chevrolet.

"I was fighting a tight car at the end," Armstrong said. "I thought we had something for them at the end. We had a wheel bearing go out so at the finish I was protecting my line."
