Senior Expo draws a crowd

The event featured around 80 exhibitors offering information on services available to Pickett's senior constituents, including health care, insurance, social services, transportation, volunteerism, fraud protection, financial and legal services and veterans' benefits.

The expo also featured free vision screenings and secure document shredding provided by North Central Sight Services. The organization presented Pickett with its 2013 Representative of the Year award Thursday, in honor of her support for NCSS' vision screenings, business services and other initiatives.
