A Social Security cost-of-living adjustment could have a small but positive impact on retirement planning.
Boston, Mass. (June 18, 2014) – Liberty Mutual Insurance is adding Data Compromise coverage to its Insurance Agents Errors & Omissions (E & O) Program. The endorsement carries an annual aggregate limit of $100,000 for Response Expenses and an additional $100,000 annual aggregate limit for Defense and Liability for suits and damages resulting from a personal data breach.
The first party Response Expenses coverage provides an insured agent the ability to obtain critical assistance and protections when personal identifying information has been breached. This can include costs associated with notifying applicable parties of a breach, credit monitoring services, identity restoration case management services, and help line services. The endorsement includes sub-limits of $10,000 for both legal and forensic information technology reviews as well as a sub-limit of $5,000 for crisis communication services.
For nearly 30 years, Liberty Mutual Insurance Agents E & O Program has offered competitive pricing and flexible coverage options to meet the needs of independent property and casualty agencies. The program offers policy limits of up to $10 million and deductibles as low as $2,500. Subject to underwriting, comprehensive coverage includes: defense coverage outside the limit of liability; consent-to-settle; contractual and vicarious liability; an option for first dollar defense; full prior acts; and now data compromise coverages.
Claims services are centralized and staffed with E & O specialists. The program also includes a specialized, national legal network, and access to a toll-free claim mitigation advice line staffed with experienced claims analysts.
The program is available in all states except Alaska, Alabama, Florida, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Nevada, South Carolina, and West Virginia. For further information about the Agents E & O Program, call 800-255-9990 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
