June 19--Hundreds of motorcycles will set off at noon Saturday from Chesapeake Harley-Davidson in Darlington for the 2014 Ace of Hearts Ride.

Registration for the 50-mile road is $20 per driver; passengers are an extra $10 and pre-registration is available at aceofheartsride.org/registration or the day of the ride starting at 9 a.m. the day of the ride.

The approximately 50-mile ride will roll through the countryside of Northern Harford and Cecil counties and Southern Pennsylvania and end at the Union Hotel in Port Deposit, where there will be an after party. Music will be provided by the Route 66 Band and Relicoustic.

Proceeds from the ride benefit the Red Devils of Maryland, a breast cancer organization that helps Maryland women and families dealing with the disease. The ride was started in 2005 with the goal to supply aid and money for breast cancer research in and around Maryland.

Last year approximately 300 riders helped raise $12,000 for the cause. This year's goal is 500 riders and $25,000. Sponsors for this year's ride include Chesapeake Harley-Davidson, Vendetta Wear, Jordan Thomas Salon, The Tower of Bel Air, Hinchy Construction, Pizza Hut of Maryland, Garrett Builders, Club 66, Riders Insurance, The Union Hotel, 98 Rock, Greenberg Law Offices and Victorious Faith Fellowship.

Strap on your helmet, crank up the bike and come on out to this year's ride to help fight breast cancer.
