The newly launched U.S. division of April Travel Protection has signed an agreement with STA Travel.
"STA Travel's customer base will be able to make immediate use of our unconventional "Stress Less" benefits and broad insurance options, several of which were previously unavailable in the U.S. market," said Jason Schreier, CEO, April-USA, in a release.
"Travelers will have access to our extensive support network ensuring hassle-free resolutions via a number of communication channels - including Skype and live chat."
"Insurance has always been a key part of our business model as many of our programs encompass active, hands-on experiences and often venture into areas with developing infrastructure where good coverage is absolutely essential," said Adam Cooper, Senior Vice President - North America at STA Travel.
"April Travel Protection offers a wide range of coverage options, including a number of forward-thinking benefits that go beyond the typical 'what if' scenarios that are of significant value to our customers."
